    Alexandre Haulet

Alexandre Haulet is a 32 years old parisian artist. Son of an opera singer and a conductor, he and his Brother have been following their parents all around the world, the opera stage will be their playground and artistic awakening for many years. Being in contact with incredible artists, as varied as Pier Luigi Pizzi and Peter Sellars, for example, gave him a strong desire to be part of this sublimation of life and influenced his orientation for plastic research and finally sculpture. In the mean time, from the age 7, he developed his drawing and modeling skills at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. In 2014 Alexandre met Philippe Jourdain, a Parisian sculptor known for his work on the monumental sculptures of Charles de Gaulles, Churchill, and Jefferson around the Grand Palais in Paris. Convinced of the need to discover all the subtleties of the practice of portrait and nude for the rest of his artistic journey, he will spend five years working alongside him. It is thanks to his Master that Alexandre will become a life member of the renowned Taylor Foundation in Paris. Since 2017 Alexandre has had great success with his thematic workshops in Paris, lived as a very intense and rewarding experience by more than 700 participants so far. He recently set up his workshop in the South West of France, a region still very preserved where he can fulfill his need for nature and find there an essential source of inspiration. Alexandre regularly exhibits his work in France and the United States and devotes several weeks a year to his workshops which welcome students from all over the world.
